The third annual Rocklahoma July 9-12th 2009 in Pryor, OK kicked off with a newly formed “heavy” day on 07.09
The triple axe attack of Leatherwolf started the festival to the crowd of now old friends and associates who make the annual pilgrimage from around the globe to the summer festival.

Shooting the act kicking off the festival was fairly straightforward but presented challenges in terms of reach across the tremendous stage. The Nikon 70-200 2.8 was chosen for the long range paired with the Nikon 24-70 2.8 for the limited front of stage action as a result of the blistering Oklahoma sun and the mid stage placement of the monitors.
