Saxon

Every so often one encounters a performance of Epic proportions. Having never seen the legendary Saxon perform live and thus, had the pleasure of covering them, this was my most anticipated shoot for day one of Rocklahoma 2009.

I am still in complete awe over this performance. By far the best performance of the day and dare I say the best of the festival. Saxon should be securing headlining slots at these festivals. They are genuine stars, humble personalities, and legendary musicians for a reason. Thank you Saxon – this shoot was truly a pleasure.

In a rarity, I am attaching recent video footage of Saxon, who still reign supreme in the british heavy metal genre after 30+ years. I believe the video demonstrates why.
