One of Progressive Metal’s most influential acts headlines the 1st day of Progpower USA X embracing their present while paying unique tribute to their past and one of their fallen members.
Crimson Glory performed with class and respect while simultaneously blowing the roof of the venue for nearly 2 hours. Those guest vocalists, there were more than a dozen in solos and duet pairings across 14 of the 19 song setlist, with little incident and amazing execution. A proper sendoff for the legendary voice of Midnight.

Photography notes for this set where in a word, busy. Stage lighting was relatively flat in balance front to back. Midstage light fell in the 3200 ISO range while extreme side and front of stage was 5000 ISO +. Thus, requiring constant adaptation as the artists worked the large stage. Add to this more than a dozen guest vocalists across 14 of the 19 songs and a desire to capture them all in their solo / duet pairings, and a crowded stage making artist isolation quite challenging. An exciting shoot to end the 10 hour day. Quite a pleasure to be there to capture it.
