Thanks for the comments.  I never use flash in live music shooting.  Generally it is strictly forbidden.  For my lenses I shoot with the Nikon 14-24 2.8, 24-70 2.8, and 70-200 2.8 almost exclusively.   They are simply brilliant for this type of work and allow coverage of all possible shooting lengths and angles for most assignments.

		<description>Mark - I know right ;-).  I shot most of the set at 6400 + HI 1 in camera (12,800), and boosted another 2 stops in post as there still was literally no light on the performers faces.  Blown away by the technically capability of these cameras.</description>
