Atlanta local Gary Pfaff and his band the Heartwells deliver a contemporary country set to the hometown fans in support of Blues Traveler.
No pit was available for this show so shooting was mixing it up with the crowd. Artists stayed largely fixed and behind mic stands as they were squished out in front of the headliner’s gear. Stage front was locked for the prime headliner spots so I shot from the floor and the first few rows of the lecture style seating. Lighting for this set consisting of wide color washes of red, orange, and yellow with little to no front lighting which fit well with the laid back performance. ISO 6400 and shutter in the range of 1/60 – 1/200.
