Musician, songwriter, and producer Butch Walker performs a contiguous 4 nights at 7 Stages Theater in Atlanta to sold out crowds of hometown fans and friends.

The Atlanta native’s illustrious career began in the late 80’s hair band genre with Bite The Bullet/Southgang which morphed into Floyd’s Funk Revival and ultimately the acclaimed Marvelous 3. Following Marvelous 3, Butch continues to release albums as a solo artist while enjoying a successful career as a producer and songwriter.

The tour features a unique and intimate series of performances over 4 nights with 3 nights spent covering each of the artists recent studio albums and one night of largely ad hoc artist choices and fan requests. These performances are delivered in an approachable and transparent format with full disclosure of the artists context during the songwriting process.

Shooting was challenging in the venue traditionally used for community theater. Lighting was flat and non directional in nature comprised of an even front to back wash of red hues. It was however consistent and I settled in on a constant exposure of around 1/50 F2.8 ISO6400 captured through the Nikon D700 and 70-200 2.8 exclusively.
