Breaking Benjamin deliver an impressive setlist from their 10 year career while demonstrating their live appeal to both the hardcore and modern rock fans in attendance at James Brown Amphitheater.

Opening the set with “I will not Bow”, Breaking Benjamin engaged the audience through relative lyrics superbly delivered with modern rock verses mixed with heavier sing along choruses of the bands unique style. Mid set the band gave tribute to Pantera’s Dimebag Darrell, Johnny Cash, Elvis, Jimmy Hendrix, et al while delivering a solid cover of Aerosmith’s “Dream On” before closing the hour long set with crowd favorite and singalong “Diary of Jane”.

Shooting duties were covered by the D700 tandems with the 24-70 2.8 and 70-200 2.8 respectively. Stage height continued to pose angle challenges during the first three while Benjamin Burnley’s double duty with vocals and guitar kept him close to the mike largely prohibiting unobstructed shooting. Lighting was in hues of blue, orange, and yellow and seemed LED in nature which creates its own white balance challenges.
