San Francisco Thrash veterans Testament deliver a respectable mid bill assault on Megadeth’s 20th Anniversary Rust In Peace Tour in Atlanta.

The 11 song set began with “Over the Wall” setting the pace for performance. The band continued with a population of tracks from T”he Legacy” mixed with a small handful of classics including “Into the Pit” and “Apocalyptic City”. Surprising absent were Testament classics “Practice What You Preach” and “The Ballad”.

Former Megadeth guitarist Glen Dover filled the frets amply of the sadly absent Alex Skolnick due to prior tour commitments with the Alex Skolnick Trio while lead vocalist Chuck Billy doubled up on the signature mike stand guitar.

Lighting for the set was largely ambient backlight with no front lighting to speak of save a few crowd interactions with house lights enabled. As such shooting fell in the neighborhood of ISO4000+ for the Nikon D700 pair coupled with the Nikon 14-24 2.8 and 24-700 2.8 respectively.
