Filling the mid show slot, Eric Church and band give an energetic performance during the Rowdy Friends Tour to perfectly round out the Outlaw Country based show.
With inspirations from classic rock and outlaw country mixed with a slight contemporary flair – Eric Church hit the stage with an undeniable energy resembling a full on rock show intertwined with slower paced crowd sing alongs from his 2006 and 2009 releases. The hour long set showcased the songwriting diversity of both Eric and band while staying true to their country roots.

Lighting treatment for the set provided around a stop increase overall from the opener. Rapidly changing light necessitated shooting from 1/400 F4.0 ISO2000 to 1/200 F2.8 ISO6400 to keep shutter speeds reasonably high to stop the action while still bleeding in some ambient. Shooting restrictions where songs 2 and 3 providing around 8 minutes of shooting time. Eric and Driver where both extremely active with Eric in particular providing some great mugging for the camera. Shooting was handled by a pair of Nikon D700′s mounted with the Nikon 24-70 2.8 and Nikon 70-200 2.8 respectively.
