Ben Christophers

In addition to handling Guitar/Keyboard duties on Imogen Heaps Ellipse Tour, Songwriter Ben Christophers filled the opening slot for the tour with a short set of favorites from his 5 album career.

Ben noted during the set that this was his first performance as well as visit to North America. The acoustical set was quite well received by the crowd in attendance.

Shooting Notes:

Shooting the set was the standard 3 and out of the 5 song set. Lighting was very usable at 3200ISO. Shooting acoustic sets are challenging in terms of shot variety as the performers often give a relatively static stage performance throughout. To add variety to the set I made use of the wide, mid, and long Nikon 2.8 concert photography trinity in the 14-24 2.8, 24-70 2.8, and 70-200 2.8 zooms.
