Critically acclaimed vocalist/songwriter/guitarist John Corabi serves up a fan favored set on the Rock N America second stage to a standing room only crowd in addition to a majority of the the main stage festival seating.
With accolades throughout his career including The Scream, Union, and Motley Crue, John Corabi remains one of rocks most celebrated voices and delivers an inspiring set from his talented and diverse career to the Rock N America crowd which in this photographers humble opinion should have been delivered on the main stage.
Shooting the second stage at Rock N America followed main stage rules of the first three. The setup of the second stage was one of the more unique I have seen in a festival setting. Situated under tree canopies directly house right from the main stage, the second stage featured a standing room only fan area and a single file photo pit. The stage was raised to a height of around 8 feet allowing elevation to be visible to the main stage festival area. In a moment of brilliance by festival organizers and sound operators, second stage sound was run through the main stage FOH PA for the majority of the sets. BRAVO.
Stage height was indeed a challenge as obvious by the framing in the set while the short single-file pit limited movement considerably.
