Warrant: Rock N America

Kicking off day three of Rock N America, multi-platinum recording artists Warrant deliver a festival welcome set focusing largely on the groups first two albums DRFSR and Cherry Pie.

With no disrespect to former vocalist and songwriter Jani Lane, Robert Mason’s lead vocals are now synonymous with the reborn group who perform their classics with a slightly edgier and youthful feel. Rumor has it an album is in the works featuring rerecordings of hit tracks with Robert on vocals in addition to new songs by the group.

Shooting Notes:

Three and out on the main stage with an overall flat mix of ambient and stage lighting in the midday sun with cloud cover. Shooting was a very consistent 1/400 F2.8 ISO800 throughout the allotted shooting time. Robert Mason and Joey Allen were particularly active and crowd engaged during the first three and therefore were featured in the majority of captures.
