Lee Brice

An energetic Lee Brice kicks of the mainstage during Willie Nelson’s Country Throwdown at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville, Ga.

Photography Notes:

3 Songs from the pit on the midsize temporary stage positioned between 1st and 3rd base at Coolray field. The waist high stage limited extreme shooting angles which I like, but was great for the artists to be close to crowd level for those with field tickets. Shooting outside in the direct mid afternoon sun is always a challenge though it was contrasty with the black stage enclosure. Drummer Michael Gray was by far my favorite subject who gave a bit of a shout out to the attention. ISO200 for the duration of the set.
