Hellyeah

American Metal “supergroup” Hellyeah destroy the late afternoon stage performing at the 2012 Project Cinco festival in Alpharetta, Ga.

Shooting Notes:

Photography for the set was a challenging first three songs from the pit. By this time of day all media had arrived and security was increased in prep for the groups spinning up of the crowd which didn’t disappoint. Lighting head on was piercing – directly into lenses which necessitated shutter speeds as high as 1/1000 while shooting perpendicular to the stage provided more contrast in the frame and exposures falling 1/320 F3.2 ISO800 or so.
