The Bad Boys from Boston continue to mesmerize with their unique blues driven hard rock sound. 40 years into it, they uphold their recognition as one of the greatest American Rock and Roll bands.
Having seen the band perform for over 25 years, I can undoubtedly say this is the best they have ever been in a live setting. Simply incredible. For the full set please see: Aerosmith in Atlanta
Photography Notes:
As is customary with Aerosmith, lighting for the first 3 songs was brilliant. Positioning was limited to the corner between the stage and the “ego ramp” as they are called. With a high stage, higher monitors, and a generous photographer count this was a bit challenging. As a fellow photographer put it – “this is like shooting between two parked cars”. Exposures fell from 1/250 F2.8 ISO3200 in the stage ambience to 1/250 F2.8 ISO1250 in the follow spots. Photo used with permission.
