Roger Waters performs Pink Floyd’s The Wall bringing one of the most classic albums of the 70′s and perhaps the greatest live presentation of an album to a capacity crowd at Phillips Arena in Atlanta Georgia.

Photography Notes:
Tough shoot. While Roger Waters employs a very generous photo policy, as with all things, the better the access the tougher the shoot. Photography was as follows (try to follow along): Intro and Song 1 from the pit. Songs 2,3,4 from far stage right or left (your choice) songs 5 and 6 from the pit. The stage was absolutely massive and the pit not deep enough to cover even half of it with the Nikon 14-24 2.8. Intro and song one where mostly dark. Songs 2,3,4 were bathed almost entirely in red. Songs 5 and 6 featured “Another Brick in the Wall Part 2″ with local children joining (and their proud parents in the pit – not an issue I would want to be as well). Song 6 brought some follow spots and some glorious shadows. All told maybe 1.5 songs of solid shooting. Exposures throughout fell about 1/250 F2.8 ISO5000+.
