Making the traditional reflection on my yearly accomplishments, 2012 proved to be my most satisfying and frustrating year in live music photography. On some levels I captured what I feel to be personal iconic shots of lifelong musical heroes. On other levels I shot far less this year due to increased shooting restrictions, prohibitive photo releases, and the increasing professional and personal cost prohibitive endeavor of the amazing experience of shooting live music.
